October 27th, 2011: For Participating GISA One-Act Schools

On the day of competition, the city of Americus will be having their annual Kiwanis Pet Parade, as well as Downtown Trick or Treat.  The parade will begin at 4:00pm, with trick or treating to follow afterwards, and will last until 6:00pm.   Cotton Avenue (the street to the theatre's immediate right) will be used during the parade, so if you plan on leaving any time between 4:00 and 5:00 on that day, it would be best to escort your school contingent across the street to Rylander Park (where we recommend your buses park for the day) and leave out of the park's Forsyth Street exits.
