REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
Ticket refunds will be made in the event that a performance cancelled. Refunds will be made by theatre check issued within ten days following notice of cancellation. Where a credit card was used for the transaction, the credit card account will be refunded. Refunds will not be made in cash. Nor will refunds be made for tickets that were not sold through the theatre box office.
Should a patron be unable to use a ticket, the ticket may be returned to the Box Office and the theatre will acknowledge a contribution in the amount of the face value of the ticket as a contribution to The Rylander Theatre.
The theatre will not receive tickets for resale. The theatre will manage a demand and supply list for shows that officially sell out. Ticket holders that are unable to attend the performance may leave telephone contact numbers for the supply list. Patrons that call for tickets will be given the numbers of ticket holders desiring to sell tickets. The theatre does not guarantee resale or availability of tickets through this service. Information and contact numbers for available tickets will be given out in the order in which the theatre received the information or request.
Tickets for single performance events cannot be exchanged for other events. Tickets for multiple performance events may be exchanged for tickets of the same or lesser value for another performance. The difference between the lesser-valued ticket and the ticket being exchanged will not be refunded.
Any ticket may be exchanged to upgrade a seat for the same event.
Discounts of ten percent are offered for group sales numbering ten or more. The discount is available for most events in the theatre and all Rylander produced events.
When a Sales Agreement is completed the theatre will generate an invoice payable within ten days.
All group sales reservations must paid for at the time the reservation is made.
Single check, credit card or cash may make payment for ten or more tickets per transaction.
The theatre will generate one receipt per transaction. The printed ticket is the receipt for the individual within the group.
It is strongly advised that groups anticipate their needs as early and accurately as possible. Most events in the theatre are reserved seating events and the theatre can not guarantee that groups will be able to sit together when tickets for the group are purchased in small blocks. Patrons are obliged to occupy the seat for which they hold a ticket.
There are no refunds or exchanges for group sales unless the performance is cancelled or rescheduled for another time.
Gift certificates are available for any tickets or items from the Rylander Theatre Box Office or Souvenir Shop. The certificates are not redeemable for cash. Where change is due, change will be given in Rylander Concession Coupons for amounts due that are greater than $15.00, the theatre will set up an account in the name of the certificate holder. Gift certificates are valid up to twelve months after the date that the certificate is issued.
The Rylander staff welcomes the opportunity to show anyone who desires through the theatre.
Appointments may be made for tours. Where appointments are made for tours of less than fifteen, the theatre will release the date and time of the tour as a public tour so that others may join the tour. Drop-in type tours are difficult for the theatre to accommodate. For safety reasons and to enable the theatre staff to provide a quality experience, it is requested that appointments be made for tours.
Tours for educational institutions may be scheduled in advance and will not be opened to the public in an effort to focus on the curriculum needs of the students touring the theatre.
Admission for theatre tours is by donation. The suggested donation for walk up tours is $2.00 per person. For group tours arranged in advance with a docent the suggested donation is $2.00. Donations from educational institutions for closed tours are not accepted. Educational tours are encouraged and supported by the Americus Theatre and Cultural Center Authority.
All tours and related services pre-arranged or otherwise are subject to the availability of the theatre spaces and equipment. Access to the theatre while preparation is being made for production is absolutely disallowed.
